Chris Gooey has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has been with Frontier Networks since 2012. As Vice President of Strategic Account Management, he works closely with national and multi-site organizations to develop network strategies that improve performance while reducing costs. His experience spans the evolution of telecommunications from traditional voice services to today’s broadband, VoIP, SD-WAN, and managed network solutions.
Marc Ackley
Vice President, Core Technology
Marc Ackley brings more than 30 years of telecommunications experience to Frontier Networks and has led the company’s core technology strategy for the past 17 years. He oversees network architecture, infrastructure, and pre-sales engineering while helping guide the ongoing evolution of Frontier’s network. Earlier in his career, Marc owned and operated an Internet Service Provider for 10 years, giving him a unique blend of technical, operational, and business expertise.
Don Handapangoda
Vice President, Edge Operations
Don Handapangoda is Vice President of Edge Operations at Frontier Networks, where he leads the Network Operations Centre and customer support teams. With more than 10 years of experience in telecom operations, he focuses on service reliability, operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Don also leads internal automation initiatives that improve monitoring, streamline workflows, and enhance the tools used by both employees and customers.
Mimi Lai
Vice President, Finance
Mimi Lai is Head of Finance at Frontier Networks, overseeing financial planning, reporting, treasury, tax strategy, and corporate compliance. With extensive experience across both private and publicly traded companies, she provides the financial insight that supports strategic decision-making and long-term growth. Mimi has led initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen financial controls, and support product development and business expansion.
Rose Fera
Manager, Project Management Office (PMO)
Rose Ferra brings over 25 years of telecommunications project management experience, including leadership roles at Bell. She specializes in delivering network, fibre, VoIP, and cloud migration projects for medium and large organizations. With a strong background in planning, coordination, and carrier operations, Rose helps ensure every implementation is completed smoothly, on time, and with minimal disruption to Frontier’s clients.
